the latch works fine, if nothing is touching it. Product LOOKS great! I tried to use it to release a spring loaded door, but it won’t function with the slightest pressure against the latch. I’m still working on it, but so far, no success.

GREAT LITTLE UNIT! This does exactly what it says it will. Get your clearances right when installing and it will operate seamlessly. I used it for a hidden gun safe inside a piece of furniture with a hidden button. I powered it off of a bank of AA batteries wired to make 12v and based on my calculations, will operate for a couple hours continuously in the open position. Since it is only intermittently used for brief seconds at a time I estimate it will run for years. Construction is very high quality and is very…

Good product but pull rating is inflated This is actually a pretty decent little lifting magnet. Excellent construction and good price. 3 stars instead of 5 due to false pull rating.Actual pull rating of the 35N solenoid was 17.6N, so basically this thing is only good for half of its label rating. Also that is in best case scenario – voltage supply set to 110% of rated voltage and lifting a solid hunk of steel. If the thing you are lifting has a lower ferromagnetic profile (thin materials like sheet metal or materials which…
