Depending on your situation, you may need some tools! I’m not sure if any of you will make the same mistake as I made, but just in case…. I always assumed that once you punch in the numbers, the bolt will automatically extend or shut. There is a section where they ask you to test it after you install it. I was scratching my head for a good 30 minutes as I was “testing” it, waiting like an idiot for the mechanism to spring. I took it apart several times to look at the electronics thinking I got a faulty one. LOL! So there you go! Now you won’t…

What a pile! Ok im a pretty experienced handy man and have installed nearly 30+ door locks over my lifetime this takes the cake as junk. The upper deadbolt is rock solid and id give it 5 stars all the way the door latch mechanism was only changed due to the brass wearing off the old one. The lower latch will lock you into the house and you must dismantle it to free up the action. Im going to rebrass the finnish on my old one and put it back on. I have bought a new Latch two times over this at a local Lowes…

Perfect Product We replaced an old key lock with this keypad system. It looks and works great! It was easy to install, had great instructions, and has worked flawlessly. I could not be happier!
