I owned an earlier model of this lock. It was mounted on my back door and got daily use for 24 years. I decided to replace it when both screws holding the passage lever broke. That part of the design has been changed…I think for the better. This lock comes with complete, clear instructions and was easy to install, and set/change the combination. The original had shown no appreciable wear and NO corrosion and this new lock seems to have the identical finish(Black, in my case). The only…
