Best paired with an intuitive app for full benefits Can’t comment on others experiences but, my family and I really like this lock.The lock looks exquisite.I have mine setup on z-wave with a repeater close to the lock. As well, I have my system set to only “ping” the lock when in use. Multiple ‘pings” or requests for status drain the battery.Our family has had this lock since Dec 1 and we use it 10-15 times per day and battery life remains very strong. Great Unit Check it Carefully When Opening As for the product itself, it is great, I love them. Buyer beware buying them from Amazon. I purchased 3 of these units. One was factory fresh out of the box, because the screen still had the sticky cover on it and the protective clear plastic cover in place. The other two were obvious returns. I know why these units get returned because it requires you to read the instructions, carefully to program and rekey. One unit would not function with the keys in the box, so unless you have the Kwikset…

I cannot recommend this to anyone We received the Kwikset device and installed it with our new door. The installation went fine, connecting to our hub and then to Alexa went fine. The issues started about a week into using it, it reported the batteries were dead. They were new batteries, but they were generics, so I replaced them with energizer batteries. A week later, dead again. Due to this, I opened a case with Spectrum brands support, they asked for pictures of the installation, and then sent me out a new lock. Again…
