You will need to know this before installing There’s a very important piece of information missing from the printed instructions (applicable only for left hinged door lock sets). The door lock comes set for right hinged doors even though you bought a left hinged door set. What the instructions do not tell you is that on the outside hinge (the one with the keypad on it) there is a plastic circular piece on the shaft. You have to slide the plastic piece off of the shaft and then locate the pin underneath. Move the pin up (counter clockwise)…

Easy to install and works perfectly I got this to keep the kids out of a particular room in our house where we keep delicate items, and where we want to be able to go without having to mess with keys. It was easy to install, taking the place of a regular door knob. No complaints whatsoever.
