Nicely made but hard to set. These are well made boxes that look like they will last forever. The combination programing is a nuisance since you have to unscrew a plate and use a special tool to pull pins in and out. These are separate parts that can become lost. This is enough of a deterrent that you may not want to change codes often, say after giving a code to a temporary contractor or renter. However, it met our needs perfectly to have a spare emergency key available.
Key Safe I really like this key safe. It is completely encased in steel and has four mounting screws for a very secure mount. It was easy to set up the combination and easy to mount on the outside wall. It was a bit pricey but it is far better than anything available on the market that I’ve compared it to.
As expected It fits perfectly between the screen and inside door. It would be nice if you could set number sequence, but I knew it was a limitation. It is solid and so far the buttons work well. It was easy to set and install.
