Good system – dongle buttons too sensitive I wanted keyless entry for my 1984 Mercedes G-Wagon and thought this would do the trick. I really did not care much about the alarm but I did want keyless entry. Others have talked about the need for a relay (or two) to make the actuators work properly and that was the case for me. I opted for the Install Essentials 451M Door Lock Relay Module because it has two relays in one and was easy to install. For the price I’m impressed. I was hesitant to buy this because of the mixed reviews, but I bought it anyways to use on a back up vehicle. I learned from other reviews that I would need relays for the door locks which turned out to be true. However, I bought two, thinking one for each door, but you really only need one relay. Wiring diagrams for relays are all over the internet but I used the one included in the manual for the alarm and it worked perfectly. Wiring it up was a piece of cake.
